A bear built like a burger, produced as a 25 cm collectible and a 2.5 m fibreglass sculpture outside the shop.
Pattie Pattie opened in Kuwait with a new brand and no mascot. Bearger was created from scratch to be its centre: a teddy bear built like a burger, designed to come apart in layers the way a burger does, so it could be playful in illustration and practical as a product.
The character went from sketches to a 3D model, then into production as a 25 cm collectible in a batch of 200, with its own box. The same model was scaled up into a 2.5 m fibreglass sculpture, sculpted and painted at the workshop and installed permanently outside the restaurant.
The character design, studies and the themed drawings that followed are documented in a separate entry.
